Finally, as promised I have more pictures to post of this lovely family. So until I get my kids in school full time I only do pictures for people if they really twist my arm. And lucky for me Kristal was good at convincing me to do her family pictures for her because I had a great time working with her and her family. Plus I was really psyched to do photos for another photographer. Kristal is the very talented photographer behind Studio K Photography. I met her because her oldest daughter is in Celia's class at school and in gymnastics. It's been so nice having someone to talk shop with. The whole family was a dream to work with. Rheagan is such a cutie and her energy is contagious. And little Ryane was about to turn 1 so we got to do some fun cake shots of her for her party. Isn't she a doll? Thanks Kristal for trusting me with your precious family photos. I have a pretty good idea how important family photos are to you coming from the perspective of a fellow photo addict.

my little Grounds Keepers
Every year our golf club throws a "divot party" where they ask the members to come out and repair divots on the course and then enjoy a nice BBQ dinner afterwards. For some reason this is our first year to do this. I have no idea why we have not done it in years past. What better to way to entertain your kids then to put them on a golf cart with containers full of sand and let them loose out on the course to run around filling holes with the sand for an hour while you enjoy a cooler full of beer provided by the club. Then they get to eat a nice BBQ dinner complete with tons of desserts and jump in a bounce house and play in the sand traps with all their little friends from the neighborhood. We will be doing this again next year. They had a blast. Oh (side note) it's a complete accident that my children have on what looks like matching outfits. I am so not that mom. Seriously, complete accident.

Port Aransas 2011
We just got back from a week long vacation to the lovely Port Aransas, TX on Mustang Island. I used to go to Port Aransas with my family when I was a little girl. Only back then it took us a lot longer to get there considering we were coming from eastern Oklahoma. My kids seemed to enjoy it as much as I used to. We saw lots of dolphins, played in the sand and surf, rode the ferry, shopped, ate tons of seafood and just enjoyed the low stress vibe of the quaint little Texas Rivera town. As usual I took quite a few pictures. Though I think I'm getting a little better at not having my camera at all times so I "live in the moment" a bit more. I still have tons to put on here. However, I really need to get the pictures edited from my previous family shoot I did for the cuties in my last post so I will only share a few of Port Aransas on here until I can get those done and off to their very understanding fellow photog mom. Enjoy these for now...

Quick Sneak Peek
So you would think taking pictures of a photographer's children would be easier right? Definitely. These girls know what they're doing. Much much more to come on these beauties later along with mom and dad. For now a very quick sneak peek. I have about a million more to edit.
